Our main aim is to provide a platform for cultural awareness and sustainable tourism in the Himalayas through the promotion of responsible tourism. Our main vision is how we operate tourism, that there is more to an object, or an experience, than simply the material, that humanity exists and an intrinsic worth that speaks beyond words. This is art, this is culture, this is magic. At The Temple Tiger Group of Companies we believe in providing and preserving this magic.  Our visitors are not just ‘another tourist’ for us.  We treat each tourist as our guests and strive to win their friendship which accounts for that little difference.

We offer the traveler a combination of expertise and progressive thinking that is impossible to find elsewhere. We have worked hard to bring our company to the forefront of the industry and our services are among the most professional, service-oriented and efficient found in Nepal today. We are known for providing our guests with a level of personal service and attention to detail that cannot be matched. We believe in the value of people and the value of an experience, providing good people with memories that will last a lifetime is our way of making this world a little wiser, a little kinder and a little bit smaller.

The Temple Tiger Group of Companies is committed to Responsible and Sustainable Tourism   through policies and practices which permeate all aspects of our business, ensuring that all our holidays are undertaken in a way which is socially, environmentally and culturally sound. Responsible Tourism remains at the very core of everything we do.

We feel strongly that all our holidays should benefit the local communities, protect the environment by minimizing pollution, and respect local traditions, religion and heritage. We tread lightly – low volume, low impact holidays are the best way of preserving the beautiful and fragile places we visit.

Nepalese tour operators have been slow to recognize the importance of sustainable tourism. However, from the very beginning we have been passionate about protecting the very destinations that sustain our business. We use – even though it hurts our bottom-line – only renewable energy at Green Jungle Resort. Each room has solar powered reading lamps, fans and attached modern bathrooms equipped with solar-heated showers. The Lodge’s photovoltaic solar power plant is the largest in Nepal.

Our conservation efforts were recognized as early as 2001 when we were commended at the British Airways Tourism for Tomorrow awards. Our resort has also been awarded the best green resort by the Pacific Asia Travel Writers’ Association.

Temple Tiger Group of Companies does not advertise. It has grown and prospered because of the support of our visitors. All of our revenues come from those who have traveled with Temple Tiger before or have had us recommended by those who have done so. At the heart of everything we do is this pride in creating the best possible travel experience for our clients and in doing everything possible so that our clients have an unbelievable experience and recommend us to their friends and family.

A heritage boutique hotel like this has rapidly become one of the fastest growing niches in the tourism industry with individual and chic hotels opening across the globe. However, despite the concept of these hotels being around since the mid 1980’s most people are still unsure what a heritage boutique hotel is and how it differs from traditional hotel accommodation.

Defining an establishment such as this hotel can be difficult as creating an all, consuming definition would betray the fact that the concept is based around individuality and the alternative feels of the hotels. However, broadly speaking this boutique heritage hotel would be very unique in terms of architecture and is designed very carefully around a central theme, which is visible throughout the establishment from its décor to the general ambience portraying a tribute to the architectural and cultural heritage of Nepal.

While independent hotels, like this is not a new notion, the heritage boutique concept tends to be life-style focused and is the polar opposite of the traditional bland hotel chains. As a result this product would be marketed from the perspective of a brand image of lifestyle choice rather than from a demographic perspective.

It is often said that frustration leads to innovation and it was perhaps in response to many consumers boredom with the similar mass marketing designs of the big hotel chains that led The Temple Tiger Group to propagate on this concept of Boutique Heritage. “The Temple Tiger Boutique Heritage Hotel would be selling an experience and not just a room for the night”

To an average layman, this hotel would be taken on face value analogues to a five star hotel, but what will set it apart is the atmosphere along with five star qualities in service. Just like the term “Boutique” and “Heritage” which stands for an outlet or site from which an individual of a niche or elite class would procure fashion related clothes and accessories of quality and brand value, this hotel would target a niche clientele who are willing to pay a higher price for a quality stay. In order to achieve this, this hotel would be offering services on par with five star hotels with the cuisine offered and personalized service, which would only come about with the training, dedication and motivation of its Managers who would than convey this to their staff. Staying here should be about making a fashion statement!

The designer look that this hotel would have, from the entrance, the foyer, the lobby, the central courtyard, the corridors, the rooms or the restaurants to name a few is immediately apparent that this hotel is – Different, that the, Management has endeavored to showcase style in different forms of architecture. Today’s world customers are style conscious. They are willing to pay a considerable price for an overall quality experience. That is why this hotel will set out to utilize décor to its maximum combining elegance and finesse through its décor. At The Temple Tiger Boutique Heritage hotel the management has had the liberty of working on each room and various factions of the property.

The look in fact is not an end in itself rather the purpose is to make the guests feel at ease. In a five star hotel most guests hardly ever bother about the finer details of a hotel stay such as the ambience, but what is certain here is that the guest’s experience, complete relaxation. Since time is vital to a guest, most hotels bring about the comfort factor through services or an atmosphere of ease created through the ambience.  Here in a soothing factor – “A home away from home feel, a personalized feel”. The Temple Tiger boutique heritage hotel lays emphasis on panache, chic and style plus providing good business facilities. This difference should be, best defined by the entire Hotel team as – “WE MAKE IT LOOK GOOD”!!!

That’s what The Temple Tiger Boutique Heritage Hotel is set out to do: make a guests normal business or leisure stay look and feel good.

This hotel would cater to, both leisure as well as business travelers. A business traveler does not choose a hotel purely looking at the business end. They would also be looking at avenues for relaxation, to rewind, to rejuvenate after an arduous day at the grind. This Hotel provides the guest a viable alternative through the décor, amenities and services offered. As a very famous architect once said “Architecture if done aesthetically is refreshing and relaxing” This is what The Temple Tiger Boutique Heritage Hotel is all about. And with fashion statements becoming en vogue in our everyday lives, more and more travelers are set to hop onto the bandwagon that is – The Temple Tiger Boutique Heritage Hotel and should talk about their stay here for years to come backing up the claim by the hotel that it is selling an experience and not just a room for a night. Let the guests check out the aura of this Hotel and experience the phenomenon that is fast turning into haute couture of travel accommodation – in Nepal and the World.

The property is located in Kopundol of Lalitpur world-renowned for its ancient and elegant art and architecture, is Nepal’s cultural capital. The hotel represents in character, the essence of the city or town where it is located, i.e.  Lalitpur’s culture and architecture.

The hotel Architecture is a well-preserved example of a traditional Newari house in the Kathmandu Valley the property is built of brick and timber in traditional Malla style with three wings around a central courtyard. The open plan public rooms overlook the central courtyard and the suite of bedrooms, decorated with beautifully carved windows, furniture’s and local artifacts. The Hotel is a Four- storey, brick and wood structure that typifies the traditional architectural style of the ancient town of Lalitpur. The architecture of the Boutique Heritage hotel is influenced by the post Malla regime with the touch of neo classicism of the Rana’s. It will include elaborately carved pillars, wooden windows and a pitched tiled roof.
